Audio Commentaries for DVDs: Corrections
In Looney Tunes " Golden Collection" Volume 2:
Baby Bottleneck: It was Bing Crosby whose children were boys and Eddie Cantor whose children were girls. I knew that perfectly well but somehow reversed the genders in my commentary.
Book Revue: The trombonist is Tommy Dorsey, not Glenn Miller.
In Looney Tunes "Golden Collection" Volume 3:
The Coo-Coo Nut Grove: It's Lupe Velez, Johnny Weissmuller's wife for a few years in the 1930s, who carries him away, and not Maureen O'Sullivan, Jane to Weissmuller's Tarzan in the movies. (Thanks to Ken McAlinden for catching a mistake in my original post of this correction.)
In Popeye the Sailor 1933-1938, Volume 1:
I Eats My Spinach: I express some doubt about who was providing Olive Oyl's voice, and I say explicitly that it wasn't Mae Questel, but I should have read the notes I made years ago, when I first saw this cartoon: it's Questel, definitely.
